I've had these feelings many times. Being a descendent of Norway, I see the long history of atrocities. I pondered which would be more painful, through the witness of, or through the eyes of the abused. Often the witness, as the abused is numb to the pain. But, alas an even greater threat rises, inflicting greater pain on another. My heart weeps.
