Oh goodness, so sorry to hear. This reminds me of when I dreamt my Father was over-served and took extra meds to ease his pain from a separation from my Mother. In the dream, he called me with slurred speech and was cleaning his revolver.

Two weeks later, they separated and he called me. Thankfully, I was able to talk him down and he woke the next day.

It is hard to discern which dreams we should follow up on, for sure, but we cannot hold the guilt of what we could or could not do.
