… of us who want to make others feel seen and heard are the very ones who didn’t feel it growing up. It’s sad in a sense, but also incredibly empowering if you change the way you look at it. I know I wouldn’t have this superpower if it hadn’t been for people dismissing me and my needs during childhood.
