There are so many new recipes waiting for us. New spices and seasonings of welcoming health. I too grew up on comfort food, but can no longer sutain a healthy balance without integrating more fruits and veggies, less bread ( to none) and pastas (unless very small portioned).

For me it is finding the caloric intake and matching it to how much I burn for the day. Each persons dietary needs may vary, but requires taking stock in our own.
