There is a story of a pupil who asks her teacher about worry. Teacher replies "There are two things in life, those ÿou are totally in control of, to which you need not worry because you are in control. The second are things out of our control. No matter what we do they are out of our control. Do you worry about the ones without any control?" Well no, because they are out of my control. "Do you worry about the things you are in complete control? "Well no, because I am in control. "So either way, what I am hearing is there is no need to worry?" Yes, I guess you are right.
Paraphrased of course, original author slips my mind. Maybe you have heard this story?
What is worry teaching us?
