This triggered memories of the first person who said I couldn't do things my way, slamming the piano key cover closed on my fingers. That energy they carry, it is vicious indeed and I witness it still with others who read my work at times. Not everyone can see like you, me, or other creatives. Even the other creatives don't always agree. The worst thing we can do to another is dim their flame.
