Today, moving my parents into their new home, after two truckloads of ‘stuff’ which could have been let go I say for a break. My father wanted to prove he was still capable, all the while my asking him to sit with me, so he started moving some large equipment.

Not being able to sit still as he struggle I quickly moved things out of his way.

He took it as an insult and decided he wanted to leave. I went to him and asked if I could just hug him. All the while I hugged her yelled at me. I bit my lip and apologized a thousand times.

He is one who can not apologize so I did all the apologizing. Taking one for the whole team and diffusing and angry bear, he stayed and all was good again.

The ladies hugged me and thanked me for taking one for the team. It hurts to see someone so angry, but thank goodness I can go home.

Maybe a pipe and tobacco ceremony is in order, maybe meditating. Whatever it is…all is good for now.
